Orlando International Airport (MCO)
(Orlando, Florida - FL, USA)
There are all kinds of different parking choices on hand at Orlando International Airport (MCO), ranging from short-stay spaces, to terminal garages and satellite car parks. For a relatively small charge, it is even possible to have your car cleaned and valeted whilst you are away, allowing you to return to a shiny, polished vehicle.
Both the onsite Fairfield Inn MCO and Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport hotels come complete with their own car parking packages, allowing travelers to save money when booking both accommodation and a space to park. There is even a short-term zone known as the 'Cell Phone Lot' (on the South Approach Road) where you can park your car completely free of charge, whilst you wait for your arriving passenger to phone. You are then permitted to drive to the terminal and pick them up from the curbside next to the baggage reclaim.
A parking area is situated close to Orlando Airport, next to the main terminal and also on top of the actual terminal building itself. This area is within easy walking distance of the airport and provides parking for over 8,000 cars and other vehicles. The short-stay area is often rather busy and so you should always allow adequate time to allow for possible traffic queues.
Situated on Cargo Road, just off Semoran Boulevard, the satellite facility offers parking for over 6,000 cars and vehicles, at reduced rates (charged for the first three hours, and then for each 24 hour period). The satellite parking area is located just 1 mile / 1.5 km from the main terminal of Orlando Airport (MCO) and a regular courtesy bus runs every ten minutes, linking this particular zone with the terminal.
Spaces are allotted for disabled passengers with the relevant parking permits in all of MCO Airport's car parking areas. These spaces are always easy to find and rarely full to capacity.
